"A beautiful place"
After a lovely drive in country lanes The Inn appeared like Brigadoon in the mist. A roaring fire greeted us and we were shown to our Stable Room by the man behind the bar. The stable block itself was brilliant, four little green doors the first of which was unlocked to reveal a cosy room with a generous bathroom, bath AND shower, Arran Aromatics toiletries, fluffy white towels and a very comfy bed. It was a cold and snowy weekend but we were cosy and warm all night. Altogether perfect. Read less

The most gorgeous location. Nice friendly staff making me feel very welcome. Stable rooms are superb for guests with dogs. Nice breakfasts and dinners, cosy bar and restaurant with fabulous views.
Dislikes:
Slight "drain" smell in the bathroom on arrival, but seemed to disappear once water had been run a few times so I just assumed the room had been unoccupied recently.
