The location on the main B road up the valley was convenient for exploring Wensleydale. We stayed for two nights in Room 5 which is downstairs and has a private outside space. The room was spacious, well decorated and well equipped. It also had a superb large shower in the ensuite bathroom. Read less

All the staff were very friendly but efficient. The breakfasts were very good and cooked to order. We chose to eat in the bistro in the evening on both nights and the meals were excellent.
