"Overnight stay"
The hotel was ideally situated in scarborough, close to the shopping area.
Unfortunately we had to go to a funeral, so we did not spend a lot of time there, but the staff allowed us to check in slightly earlier than usual so we could get changed.
The room was very clean and spacious.
We did not bother with breakfast, so I can not comment on that. Read less

Very friendly staff and very clean room.
Dislikes:
The hotel is showing it's age as the exterior needs painting. Paint is peeling off the doors and hotel sign.

"Highly Recommended"
Just had a wonderful 3 night stay at the very charming and welcoming Chessington.
Situated in a very convenient location and in a most beautiful Crescent of Scarborough.
We had rooms with a small balcony overlooking the park gardens, a delightful bonus.
Bedrooms were very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was delicious, full English perfectly cooked. Cereals, fresh fruit and yoghurt also at hand. We were made very welcome and will definitely stay again. Top marks all around A*. Read less
