The Granville Lodge is a friendly family run hotel with a variety of unique rooms to suit all tastes. All our rooms are en-suite and a selection overlook the valley with scenic views. Some rooms are suitable for wheelchair users please ask when booking. A full English breakfast is included in the price and is served in our bright and airy dining room on the lower ground floor.

We have a small helpful team of staff on hand to make your stay as pleasant as possible. We cater for families and have suites available on request. We also take group bookings for birthdays, anniversaries and other special events.

Our hotel is in a fabulous location, close to town centre with bustling nightlife and the beach. We are a 10 minute walk from the spa complex which hosts a variety of open air concerts and shows. We are also a 10 minute walk from the Stephen Joseph Theatre which specialises in plays and jazz events.

Scarborough hosts its own sealife centre. This is a fun day out for the family offering a variety of activities and attractions to entertain all.

A fifteen minute walk will take you to where ITV’s The Royal is filmed. Anyone wishing to venture further afield can also visit Hearbeat country in Goathland.

The popular theme park Flamingo Land and Zoo is 45 minutes drive and there are regular buses and trains during the summer season.

Castle Howard is another popular tourist attraction, this is where Brideshead Revisted was filmed. It is easily accessible by car or train.

We are an hour from Whitby, where Bram Stokers Dracula and Captain Cook originate from. Whitby is famous for its Abbey with stunning views and is steeped in history, you will not be disappointed as its well worth a visit.

Dalby Forest is nearby, providing bike hire and lovely walks with picnic areas. In summer they hold open air concerts with popular bands. Go Ape is also situated there, this is a high wire forest adventure for anyone seeking an adrenaline fuelled day out.
