"Outstanding Service"
Arrived late one evening and was warmly welcomed by owner. Nothing too much trouble. Friendly staff and able to whip up a light meal for us. Loved The Plough, which is ideally situated a few minutes just outside of Whitby. A very sensible choice away from the crowds. Car parking available and wifi available. Although it's a pub and a Friday night when we arrived, there was no noise to be heard in our room. Slept very well. Well done The Plough. Loved the food ! Read less

We both found ALL the staff extremely friendly and great hosts. Nothing was too much trouble (including decorating the breakfast table with birthday banners, confetti and helium balloon - great touch)
Dislikes:
Some of the bedroom décor could do with a bit of a touch-up; small detail to raise against such a welcoming and comfortable stay. Thanks.
