Excellent food freshly prepared, both breakfast and dinner. The choices for the latter, especially the fish board, being quite amazing for a roadside pub and B&B in that location.

I enjoyed the inns situation as I was staying with my little dog and there were some lovely walks right on the doorstep. The people, service and food were excellent. But I was very disappointed with my room. It was grubby, with no space to put anything at the bedside. It opened straight out into a car park through a glazed door, which meant I needed to keep the curtains closed. There were no other windows for light or fresh air. Read less
Likes:
The walks nearby. The friendliness, good service and food.
Dislikes:
Room too small. Grubby. No privacy unless you kept the curtains closed. No bedside cabinet. Lights above the bed too low, so you couldn't sit up in bed without hitting your head. Very small shower.

"Outdated room, not worth the advertised rate"
I have not stayed in such a tired and shabby room for many years. Things have moved on in the hospitality industry but IFAS has not updated its accommodation offer to meet visitors expectations. Room two is frankly horrific. The walls are scuffed, the bathroom is a hodgepodge of plumbing, there were old tights found under our bed - the furniture is flea market but not in a good way. I almost asked to be moved to a better room (as there is a variance in quality between the rooms)! Read less
Likes:
The breakfast was generous and tasty
The fact it is dog friendly
Dislikes:
I liked nothing about the accomodation and we aren't fussy travellers. Needs an overhaul urgently!

The Inn for All Seasons has been in the Sharp family for over 20 years and is now managed by Heather and her husband Matthew, a classically trained chef. Matthew creates menus that feature seasonal local produce. The Inn also specialises in fresh fish and shellfish, all delivered daily, direct from Devon and Cornwall.

The en suite rooms and the four-poster room are all different, and have pleasant views.

Inn for All Seasons is 3 miles west of Burford - the gateway to the Cotswolds. Bibury, Bourton-on-the-Water, Stow-on-the-Wold, Cirencester and Chipping Norton are all within a 20-minute drive. Nearby National Trust properties include Sherborne Estate & Lodge Park, and Chedworth Roman Villa.

The Inn is extremely pet friendly and we accept dogs in the rooms and bar area. There are fabulous walks in open countryside, which can be reached easily from the gardens at the rear of the hotel. We have a well stocked bar serving draught local ales and lagers, Guinness, Doombar and Orchard Cider from Sharps brewery in Cornwall. Spirits, whiskies and soft drinks are also available plus we have an extensive wine list.
