Spacious and comfortable room, bit of Cotswold luxury. Lovely bathroom with roll top bath. Very clean. Dinner was delicious and value for money, especially the wine. Breakfast was great and generous.

"Good hotel for a short stay"
Staff were warm and welcoming, made you feel right at home. It was pie night for the night of our stay and the pies were delicious, sadly the fries were glassy as they were not cooked properly and we had to ask for mash instead. The mash was also not soft and fluffy it was quite hard and a tad dry. So that was disappointing.
The hot tap over the bath was not working properly, water was trickling out and so instead of a lovely hot bath after a day of travelling I had to shower. Read less

Setting was definitely convenient quite central. Enjoyed the cosy friendly attitude of the staff. And the Inn was clean which was ultra important.
Dislikes:
Spice room need to move the bed away from the wall so that second person can walk around to get into bed. I got a bruise to my leg trying to climb over during the night!

The friendliness of all the staff and their hard work to make everything work for us. And the food was absolutely delicious!
Dislikes:
The bedrooms need work - creaking bed, space for only one bedside table, only one comfortable chair - but as the owners have only been there for a month I'm sure they will improve things.
