"A very pleasant experience"
I was pleasantly surprised by the whole experience.
The location, staff and facilities were a lot better than other venues I have stayed at.
Having said that, the overall level of service etc' fell very slightly short considering the price.
Looking forward to revisiting again soon.
Would gladly recommend. Read less
Likes:
The room was very well presented and comfortable.
Staff were friendly and accommodating.
The breakfast was exceptional and was the highlight of our stay.
Dislikes:
My daughter did feel cold during the evening and there did not appear to be any means of adjustment to the heating.
There were minor areas that would of benefited from a more thorough clean.

Likes:
Beautiful village in a gorgeous part of the country. It was a really good place to stay for what we wanted and it was good value for money. Breakfast was great.
Dislikes:
The room was a bit dusty and the shower door was broken. I didn't like the live music on the Saturday - I wanted something a bit more lively. Would have
Iiked staff to be a bit more chatty/friendly

"Came away more tired than when I arrived."
Very noisy every night until late, including the ancient plumbing, which atarted again around 5.30AM, (first night the toilet cistern machanism collapsed). People shouting and laughing. Third night, Rock band situated circa 25 feet from room window, 100+ decibels. Manager tried to charge me more than the agreed amount. Obtained a total of about 12 hours sleep over the three nights. Finished up even more tired than before I arrived. Read less
