My partner and I stayed at the Perch & Pike for one night on our way to Bletchley Park. We were welcomed with a friendly smile, in fact this attitude was displayed by all staff at all times. The room was lovely, clean and inviting. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and had full English breakfast. The food was fantastic. Read less

Basically, everything. Clean, inviting room, cosy. Excellent food and welcoming staff. Highly recommended and would definately return if in the area again.
Dislikes:
Only comment would be to have a longer cord on the kettle or a kettle with a base.

Likes:
Lovely old building, in keeping with its surroundings (in a old English village), high quality pub restaurant food, good portions, good value, excellent ale, nice pub garden. Staff very affable.
Dislikes:
Minor point but only three coffee pods for machine in room. Have been in places where you get a range of different pods to select. Like that the rooms had a coffee machine but wanted a decaf pod!

The Perch and Pike is a beautiful old English country pub situated right on the Ridgway in the picturesque village of South Stoke in Oxfordshire. This 17th century flintstone inn and converted barn is home to a cosy traditional bar complete with log fires, offering a range of real ales, craft lagers and some delicious new wines.

Our chefs use only the finest seasonal produce, locally and ethically sourced to create the perfect dining experience. Eat in the relaxed atmosphere of the bar, or in our stylish barn restaurant or even al fresco on our terrace or in the garden.
