"A welcome haven after a long and tiring trek"
Walking the Ridgeway National Trail with a group so the pub was an obvious choice being right on the trail - especially as it had baths to soak very tired feet! Pub area was fairly full so would recommend you pre-book dinner to avoid disappointment. Food was excellent and well priced - catering for a vegetarian and a gluten free member of our group with ease. Bedrooms were clean, well decorated and even had the luxury of "proper" coffee machines! Read less

Made to feel welcome throughout. Even managed a full English despite the storm playing havoc with the electrics. Excellent facilities, great food and a convivial host - thank you Simon and your team

The Perch and Pike is a beautiful old English country pub situated right on the Ridgway in the picturesque village of South Stoke in Oxfordshire. This 17th century flintstone inn and converted barn is home to a cosy traditional bar complete with log fires, offering a range of real ales, craft lagers and some delicious new wines.

Our chefs use only the finest seasonal produce, locally and ethically sourced to create the perfect dining experience. Eat in the relaxed atmosphere of the bar, or in our stylish barn restaurant or even al fresco on our terrace or in the garden.

We want your stay with us to be something very special too, so we've created four beautfully styled ensuite bedrooms, complete with all the little luxuries we think you deserve for a well earned break or romantic getaway.

We are situated very close to the River Thames with access to great walking and Cycling routes as well as being within easy reach of Goring, Wallingford, Reading and Oxford for our business users. The Chiltern Aerodrome is also located right on our doorstep.
