The air conditioning unit outside our room a little noisy but fine once we shut the window.
Response from The Coachmakers Arms:
Thank you Darracq for your review we are delighted you enjoyed your stay with us , apologies for the air conditioning unit , this is actually the cooling fan for the cellar and unfortunately there is no other place to put this and it has been in situ for quite some years.. However, we are pleased you had a comfortable stay and you enjoyed the Breakfast !..
Our kind regards
Sheila & David ..

Convenience, location, warm, clean and comfortable room
Dislikes:
I'm a light sleeper and the air conditioner / heat pump that was outside my window kept starting and stopping rather noisily.
Response from The Coachmakers Arms:
Thank you very much for your Colin this is very much appreciated by David and myself , sorry to hear about the noise you experienced , this is the cooler fan for the cellar and as you can appreciate we have to have it on to keep the beer and lagers cold....however we thank you again for your positive comments on the Coachmakers Arms.
Kind regards
Sheila & David ..

This unique building, one of the oldest in town, has been a pub for nearly two centuries. But today, it's much more than a popular, local hostelry. With a small dining room serving excellent food and three en-suite letting rooms, the Coachmakers is popular with both locals and visitors alike. It is located close to the centre of town, just 300 metres from the River Thames Pathway.

Rates start at just £80 (including VAT) on a room-only basis. We offer in-room breakfast packs at a cost of £5 per person. Please notify us at time of booking if you require this.

Dogs with well behaved owners are welcome here at the CAT, although we do charge an extra £10 to cover the cost of cleaning.

Room 1 is an executive sized double with an large bathroom. Please note that it is located on the top floor, away from the hustle and bustle of the pub below, but it does have two flights of stairs so may be unsuitable for small children and the elderly.

Room 2 can be arranged as a double, twin or a triple, and is perfect for families or groups. Please specify at time of booking your preferred configuration.

Room 3 can be arranged as a double or a twin. Again, please specify your preference at time of booking.

If you would like to call to discuss your booking, or if you have any queries, please ring us on 01491 838229.
