Likes:
I had pre warned them that I was vegan and Karen made sure I had a choice of dishes. The chef, Sean, made me a wonderful salad for lunch and then an amazing dish for dinner.
Dislikes:
Our room was next to the office and the back foot and, unfortunately, the staff leaving and using the printer after closing kept us awake.

"Friendly, efficient staff - lovely refurbished small hotel"
Booked a couple of days before arrival for a 4 night stay in a Superior Superking room -requested a quiet room. We were allocated Naime an upstairs room with carpet (no dogs accepted in these rooms). We were very pleased with how quiet the room was, size of room and bathroom and the lovely facilities offered too. Would recommend this room. The bed was quite firm (which we prefer) and the bedding was hypoallergenic (which I would have requested anyway). Read less

We ate all four evening meals in the hotel and the food was very good. Breakfast was excellent. Loved the porridge :) Super service from friendly, welcoming staff who made you feel welcome and valued
Dislikes:
Only small things in the room (certainly nothing to spoil our stay!) - needs a toilet roll holder in bathroom and a blind in the bathroom, especially if using the bath!

"Relaxing Break"
This is the third time we have stayed, however, the first time in the Hotel itself. The other occasions we hired the cottages. Staff could not have been more helpful after an initial blip when we arrived. The setting is so relaxing, warm and very comfortable rooms. The area is very beautiful and we like the quaintness of the building. The food is excellent and reasonably priced. Read less
Likes:
The whole ambience of the place. The rooms are finished to a high standard and very tastefully decorated. I love the fact there is a resident lounge with open fire and a private room to dine in
Dislikes:
My only grumble would be that breakfast finishes to early - 9.30am. That's early when you are staying for a relaxing weekend.
