"Ecletic country hotel and pub."
Enjoyed our stay although some of the service was a bit chaotic. However when things go wrong it is how they are dealt with that determines the eventual outcome and in our case it was handled with honesty, decisiveness and a bit of good humour.
Apparently kitchen staff leave at 9.00pm (which seems early?) so as residents getting food and drink later is a problem.
Breakfast was very good but availability times resulted in a busy period and slow service. Should change availability times. Read less

The rooms were fresh, clean and spacious. Service was friendly and attentive but a bit chaotic.
Dislikes:
The food generally was quite good but my pheasant casserole was very disappointing and admitted by the staff to be 'the poorest dish on their menu'. I would suggest they remove it! Also see above.
