We dined in the restaurant in the evening and the food was incredible. I had soup of the day and it was the best soup I've ever had. 3 courses all perfection and decent price.
Dislikes:
After the previous evening meal the breakfast was perfectly fine but not quite the same standard.

Wanted to stay overnight to celebrate birthday and see the Ospreys. We were in room three with French doors out to your own balcony. Would be lovely sitting out there In good weather. Bed nicely dressed and mattress soft but actually comfortable enough for sleeping and room was nice and quiet. Read less
Likes:
The premises are situated on a hill on Hambleton Peninsula with spectacular views overlooking Rutland Water. The public areas have a welcoming feel withe several linked rooms for coffee/wine/reading.
Dislikes:
Room three unfortunately has some maintenance issues that could easily be dealt with. Main one is the bathroom - door doesn't close and radiator has visible rust. Decor tired and needs attention.
