"Unfortunate"
We were really looking forward to staying at the Kings Arms Hotel as it was our first visit to Melrose and on asking around we were told the food in the restaurant was excellent. Unfortunately our room was very disappointing and not at all as it appeared in the pictures online. It was also extremely cold. The room was no better than an average B&B but almost double the price.
To be honest we did not mention our disappointment to the staff so really didn't give them the opportunity to fix it. Read less
Likes:
The friendly staff. As I mentioned our room was very cold and we told the girl at reception who speedily turned on the heating so our room was warm when we returned after dinner.
Dislikes:
We were disappointed with the room and the price we paid.
