Originally a former coaching house, The Bear Inn is ideally located just meters away from the historic town centre of Bridgnorth. We boast five comfortable and charming en-suite letting rooms, one of which is suitable for small pets for a small additional charge. You will find at least two real ales, including locally sourced ales on sale at all times with up to four available during the busy seasons. Thursday are open mic night, Friday and Saturday evenings live bands which are loud till late.

I've always enjoyed flying visits to Bridgnorth but this break gave me more time to see the town at a more leisurely pace. The Bear is handily placed for all local attractions and it serves good ales.
Dislikes:
This was not a problem for me but some guests may find the live music too loud if occupying rooms over the bar.

Nestled in the picturesque Severn Valley and situated just meters away from the impressive sandstone Northgate, The Bear Inn is ideally located for all wishing to visit the historic market town of Bridgnorth and surrounding areas.

Originally a former coaching house The Bear Inn boasts five tastefully furnished, comfortable and cosy en-suite letting rooms, all with high speed wireless internet, flat screen TV/DVD's, tea and coffee making facilities, complimentary toiletries and breakfast included as standard. Our premier letting room, The Brewhouse, is detached from the main building and is suitable for guests who wish to bring their small pets along on their travels for a small additional charge.

You will find a great selection of real ales available, with at least 2 available at all times, including a locally sourced ale. All of our visitors and guests are welcome to use our high speed wireless internet access at all times.

Our huge beer garden is one of the largest in Bridgnorth and is a real sun trap in the summer. The Bear Inn welcomes all talent at our open mic sessions held every Thursday evening from 9pm. We host live bands on most Friday and Saturday evenings from 9pm going on late.On Sundays Music can vary. Every second sunday of the month we have Jazz. If you are after a quiet stay we must advise that during these music events The Bear Inn is one of the liveliest pubs in Bridgnorth.
