We (five fishermen) stayed at the Ring O Bells at the end of September, we had a fantastic time, the fishing was good at Chew, more difficult at Blagdon but it’s an excellent base right between the two. The food was excellent, great steaks, excellent lamb and the pork belly was divine. We had trout cooked for us on Saturday night- a special as it was the trout we’d caught....and Steve and his team allowed us to freeze our fish for the journey home. Read less

Very friendly and helpful staff. Loved the open fire. Food was delicious. Good ensuite facilities. Good quality beer and wine.
Dislikes:
We were expecting a room inside the pub, but had been swapped to a room in an annexe. As my husband is disabled this was not ideal as he had to go in and out of buildings in the cold.
