It suited our needs and the hotel was comfortable and friendly.
Dislikes:
Our rooms were not serviced during our stay and there was an annoying pump like noise continually at night ( room 5 )
Also in room 5 there is a green light which stays on all night .

2 night stay at The Anchor Inn, we explored local Exmoor & had a very relaxing time. As a family with a young child it was good to be able to use the pub for evening food which was served from 5.30- excellent local produce & lots to choose from. The owners were so helpful and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable & were very flexible, relaxed and friendly. Read less

Location- views of surrounding countryside, & the river right beside the beer garden. Lovely breakfast with eggs laid that morning by the owner's hens & great evening food. V child friendly.
