Old Westbrook Farm, Westbrook Barn and the Stone Barn and the Yurts are set in 15 acres of Somerset countryside. They offer plenty of options from couples to large family groups wanting comfortable accommodation with all modern conveniences including free wifi, plus large private gardens, barbecues outside seating areas, private parking, direct access to fields - all set in the wonderful Somerset countryside.
The options are: Old Westbrook Farmhouse is a large family home dating back to 1780. It has 7 ensuite bedrooms sleeping 14 to 20 people, 3 sitting rooms with open fires, a large dining room with snooker table and lots of character. A yurt sleeping 4 extra can be provided in the field close to the farmhouse. Westbrook Barn is an L shaped former cow barn converted to spacious home in 2000 and sleeping 8 people in 4 bedrooms. The Stone Barn was doubled in size in 2016 to combine the old and the new - from the 4 poster bed to the striking modern kitchen and dining area. It now sleeps 6 in 3 ensuite bedrooms. New for 2018 are luxury yurts sleeping 2 to 4 people. All have their own private gardens and parking. The properties are fully equipped, have free wifi, and you can walk straight into the fields to see pigs, Dexter cattle, sheep and hens. A welcome pack of local produce is provided plus logs for the open fires and woodburners. In the properties you'll find suggestions of things to do - galleries, pubs, theatre, walks, canal and rail trips, picturesque drives, cinemas, where to see wildlife such as the Somerset levels. The Glastonbury Festival, Bath & West showground, Cheddar caves, Longleat, England's smallest city Wells, Frome, the Hauser & Wirth gallery in Bruton are close by. Shopping at Clarks Village Street or Bristol are within an hour. Great places to eat include pubs such as the Bell in Evercreech, the nearby Natterjack, Three Horseshoes at Batcombe and Sheppy at Godney. Restaurants include At the Chapel and Roths in Bruton and lots of choice in Frome
