Pleasant greeting on arrival. Heating put on early for us. Comfortable bed but could benefit with headboard. Front room with good sea view. Excellent evening meal with home made chips. Breakfast should come with a health warning because of it's size, large is an understatement. Read less
Likes:
Staff very friendly with the attitude that nothing was too much trouble. The location on the road leading to the pier was good. The food was excellent with a wide choice from the menu.
Dislikes:
Didn't really appreciate the evening music. Would have preferred that it finished at 11 rather than 1130.

We stayed for a night during the weekend of the RNLI Harbour Fest. Had a meal in the pub, which was good value traditional pub grub, delicious puddings and really well-kept Real Ales. The owners had recently taken the place on and were very friendly. Breakfast was great - full English with good quality produce. Room was clean and comfortable and very quiet overnight. Lovely location with a view right across the beach from the harbour end of Minehead. Read less

FOOD & DRINK
Whether you're after a quick lunch or an evening meal, our head chef will ensure that you enjoy a freshly prepared meal. With a variety of menu options from homemade dishes to traditional 'pub grub' there is something for everyone. We are proud to work with local suppliers and are frequently complimented on the quality of our meat and produce. Our curry nights are fast gaining popularity, and Charlee's homemade desserts are the perfect way to end your meal, so be sure to save room for one of those! We are delighted to cater for those with special dietary requirements - we encourage diners to contact us in advance so we can be sure to cater appropriately for each individual's specific needs.

We offer a variety of local beers & ciders, wines, spirits and soft drinks, which can be enjoyed alongside a meal or on their own in our bar, outside overlooking the sea front or in our beautiful rear garden.

ACCOMMODATION
All of our four en suite letting rooms boast impressive sea views, comfortable beds, well stocked tea & coffee making facilities and complimentary toiletries.

Perfectly situated at the foot of North Hill, a five minute stroll from the harbour and West Somerset Railway and ten minutes from the town centre we are a convenient base for exploring Minehead. A short drive or steam train journey will enable you to access the delightful medieval village of Dunster and its castle, the harbour towns of Porlock and Watchet and popular family attractions Torre Cider Farm, Tropiquaria Zoo and Doniford Farm. We are ideally situated for walkers who may wish to explore the Quantock or Brendan Hills or Exmoor.

A delicious full English Breakfast will await you each morning, alongside a selection of cereals to ensure a perfect start to your day!
