Local Area Information
Set in a working farming village in the vale of Bradfield, on the outskirts of Sheffield. Also on the border to the Peak District. It is a very quiet area ideal for walking, bird watching, fishing and cycling. Quite close by are a number of reservoirs which you can walk round or you can go a little further a field and walk on the wonderful moors.

How to Find Us
M1 NORTHBOUND to HILLSBOROUGH(approx 10 miles)
Leave M1 at Jctn33 head into Sheffield on the (Sheffield Parkway) dual carriageway A630/A57/A61. At the 40mph zone get into the middle lane ready to turn right onto Ring Road at junction 1 - Cutler's Gate. Continue along Ring Road follow signs for 'Barnsley A61N'. keep to inside lane all way on A61N, after couple of miles, through numerous lights you will see B&Q, turn left here. At the small roundabout take 1st exit onto Bradfield Road. NOW FOLLOW DIRECTIONS HILLSBOROUGH TO DUNGWORTH
M1 SOUTHBOUND to HILLSBOROUGH(approx 9 miles)
Leave the M1 at Junction 36. Take the A61 into sheffield (Halifax Road) at the round about take the 2nd exit onto the dual carriage way (Penistone Road). When you pass the sheffield wednesday football ground on your right get into the right hand lane. Take the first right off the dual carriageway (you will see the KFC ahead of you). Keep in the right hand lane and take the 2nd exit at the roundabout onto Bradfield Road. NOW FOLLOW DIRECTIONS HILLSBOROUGH TO DUNGWORTH
HILLSBOROUGH to DUNGWORTH(approx 4.5 miles)
Bradfield Road use outside lane. Straight across at lights onto holme lane. When enter one way system at malin bridge take 3rd exit (by Yew Tree pub) onto loxley road B6077. Continue along B6077 towards Bradfield. You will pass Wisewood pub on your left, Admiral rodney on your right. Just past Nags head on your left, take 1st left across bridge of dam. Continue round taking 1st left, sign posted dungworth (Very concealed tight hairpin bend) Carry on into village and the Royal is on the left.
MANCHESTER VIA SNAKE PASS A57(approx 15 miles)
After passing the Ladybower Reservoir take the 2nd left (Riggs Road) (NOT STRINES)
Continue on Riggs Road taking your 1st left (signposted Load Brook / Dungworth)
Again take the 1st left down Syke House Lane. At the T junction Turn Left.
As you enter the village the Royal Hotel is directly after a small row of cottages on the Right (B6076).
15miles is taken from the snake pass inn.
