"Lots of potential"
Swift check in. Staff pleasant but not overly friendly. Food reasonable but nothing special. Breakfast took a while to be served and we were the only ones in the restaurant. The room was nice, a qwirky layout with the bathroom being along a dressing room corridor. The only complaint about the room is that it was directly above the bar and very noisy. The music was very loud. the restaurant was well decorated and there is loads of potential in the inn. Just needs a bit of fine tuning. Read less
Likes:
The room was pleasant although directly above the bar. The decor downstairs was lovely. The location is ideal.
Dislikes:
the fact our room was above the noisy bar.

Built in 1601 the Kirkhouse Inn is an iconic landmark in the peaceful parish of Strathblane. Often the scene of scandals, the Kirkhouse Inn has been home to religious rebellion, hidden fortunes and many buried secrets!

These days you'll find the Kirkhouse Inn is home to good food, friendly service and a warm, welcoming atmosphere where you can enjoy a quiet lunch, superb dinner or just stop in for a coffee - the choice is yours!
