"Fantastic value for money"
I found the accommodation on Tripadvisor, when looking for somewhere to spend a night after a concert at Newmarket Races. We did not have a chance to look round the village or to have dinner, which would have been nice. The room was a good size, comfortable and equipped with tea/coffee facilities and TV. Read less
Likes:
The room was very nice and the beds were very comfortable. I particularly liked the independent access from the car park, so that we didn't need to ask for a 'late key'.
Dislikes:
Better toiletries in the bathroom (especially shampoo) would have been welcome, but at this price I can't complain.
Response from The Three Kings:
Hi, Thank you so much for taking the time to provide us with a review. Thank you also for your kind words, it is always great to know we are getting it mostly right.
We are considering keeping some toiletries in the bar for sale. If we provided them, we would have to reflect this in the room prices, so are reluctant to do this, as you say, it is good value to stay here. Good point about the breakfast location and info when leaving etc, I will certainly bear this in mind in future.

Likes:
It was very close to Hengrave Hall where we were guests at a wedding. So it served our needs perfectly.
Dislikes:
Kind of feels a bit awkward having window open when you are on the ground floor right by the delivery entrance. Having said that, nobody did disturb us.
Would be good to cater more for late arrivals.
Response from The Three Kings:
Thank you for taking the time to write a reveiw. Also, thank you for your kind words.

The Three kings is a traditional and charming, family-run, 17th century coaching inn situated in the pretty village of Fornham All Saints, just 2 miles north-west of the historic town of Bury St Edmunds. Both the pub and it’s staff exude character, offering a warm, friendly & thoroughly pleasurable stay.

The Kings Lodges accommodation is located across the courtyard from the pub, thus providing privacy and the freedom to come and go as you please. All nine rooms are en suite, clean and comfortable and are ideally situated, for easy access to the historic attractions of Bury St Edmunds, but with the advantage of peaceful countryside walks, two great golf courses and trout fishing on our doorstep. We are proud to provide a large range of traditional home cooked meals, offering something for all tastes, and we can assure you, you won’t leave feeling hungry! Enjoy one of our five cask ales or good wine from our selection. The Three Kings offers a friendly and homely experience, a reason why so many of our guests return.
