Spacious & quiet room, but it was a rainy day, it might be different on a sunny day as the room overlook the back garden of the pub. Very friendly waiter and waitress. Helpful owner for sightseeing.
Dislikes:
The fact that we've been asked to pay when we arrived although we had already paid online.

Our aim is to make your time with us as enjoyable as possible. This fine Victorian country house was converted to a private hotel in the mid 1960's. It is ideally situated and a superb base for visiting many local attractions.
The 23 comfortable bedrooms all have private bathrooms and most have broadband internet access. Our competitive rates include full English breakfast in the Adam Room Restaurant. Dining in our Adam Room Restaurant, you will find a varied menu and selection of fine wines to make your stay extra special. To give you an appetite, or help you stay in shape we have a variety of leisure facilities available.
On the sweeping lawns there is an 18-hole putting green as well as a croquet lawn. There are also two squash courts with changing rooms, showers and a galleried bar for both players and spectators.
