Wonderful accommodating staff. Clean rooms and free wifi. Was supposed to be shared bathroom but as no one in the adjoining room had it to myself. Set in idyllic countryside village with staff who can't do enough to make you comfortable and lovely food. Although in a pub, it was not overly noisy so had a good nights sleep. Read less

All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
The room was clean and comfortable, if a bit dated.
The pub was proper old school, with a really homely and welcoming feel to it.

"Fine for overnight"
Overnight, arriving late and leaving by 10 am. The hotel was chosen purely on location. It was a traditional pub with rooms upstairs. It was generally clean, and the necessaries were there (though sachets of decaffeinated coffee would have been nice). Maybe Surrey is expensive but we would expect a better appointed room (reading lights?), and a better breakfast for the price. It would have been nice to have been offered cereal, toast/marmalade, juice, fruit as well as the cooked breakfast. Read less
Likes:
Good location, large generally clean room. The plate of egg, beans, tomato (fresh, grilled), mushrooms and a slice of white buttered toast was well cooked. Non vegetarian options not tried.
Dislikes:
Toilet had not been cleaned since the room had last been used, though the rest of the bathroom seemed clean. Limited breakfast.
