It would have been nicer if the fourth bed was maybe a pull out bed rather than a matress on the floor type

Thank you , your encouraing comments will certainly be passed onto the staff , The Futon is for the 4th bed and was for your little boy , who is under 10 years old and would only provided for any child under 10 years. That not all the breakfast options where bought out till halfway through my breakfast. Fresh fruit and natural yogurt came out late and that is what I would normally have.

The hotel is conveniently situated for all local amenities such as Newcastle Central Station, Gallowgate Coach Station, Newcastle Airport, University and Colleges, General Hospital and the Royal Victoria Infirmary. The Metro Radio Arena is just 5 minutes away. The hotel provides an excellent base for touring our historic region, which includes many places of interest and beauty: Hadrian's Wall, Beamish Museum, the market towns of Hexham and Morpeth as well as the castles of Alnwick, Warkworth and Bamburgh.
Clifton House is a quiet family run hotel set in its own grounds. It is an elegant Victorian house built in 1880 and has been refurbished to offer modern facilities whilst maintaining its original charm and character. A licensed bar is available for guests.
