There is no pub/hotel closer to the town centre as we over look the market square and are 1 minute from the new 24 hour Asda, shops, restaurants, bars and docks, and fifteen minutes parks and beaches. We offer double en-suite, double, twin and single rooms. Guests have 24 hour access to the self-catering kitchen which is stocked at NO EXTRA COST with a choice of cereals, bread, milk, fruit juice ect. Also, our pub is famous locally for its live musicians and karaoke nights at weekends.

Having a pub downstairs is perfect to relax after travelling. Thus it's close to the town center.
Dislikes:
It would be ideal if the pub served food. After travelling, it's not easy to go outside and grab something to eat, especially after 8PM.

Enjoy a relaxing stay in the comfort of our pub/hotel overlooking the market square. There is no hotel newer or closer to the town centre we are literally 1 minutes walk away from the new 24 hour Asda, retail shops, restaurants, bars and docks, and fifteen minutes from the parks and beaches.
We offer double en-suite, double, twin and single room options which are cean and modern and refurbished in 2007. They consist of a vanity unit, sink and mirror, WI FI, DVD player, TV, welcome tray and fresh towels Shared bathroom facilities inc toilet, basin and powershower. Selfserve continental breakfast in shared self catering kitchen available 24 hours. Bar can be used as lounge after 12pm.All guests have 24 hour access to the self catering kitchen containing all cooking appliances plus fridge and freezer. The kitchen is stocked with a choice of cereals, bread, milk, fruit juice, butter, fresh fruit, tea, coffee and condiments. The new 24 Asda next door makes for great convenience as does the great transport links via train, ferry bus and car.
All guests are welcome including tourists to contractors. Families are also welcome but must be aware of the music and entertainment in the bar below. So, Come and enjoy your stay your way . . . Choose to explore the many sites of South Shields or maybe spend an evening or two revelling in our late night bar, famous locally for its live musicians and karaoke!
