"Would have rated excellent but for less than ideal shower"
Ideally located on Fosse Way halfway between York and Bristol. Online booking was easy, staff were welcoming and friendly. Pub is obviously very popular with families and I would guess attracts customers from a wide area. Dining area was pretty full and as a result quite hot but we enjoyed our meal outside in a covered area. Read less

Most importantly for us, the pub is dog friendly. The evening meal was excellent. The room was comfortable but a little on the small side for a couple with a large dog, though not significantly so.
Dislikes:
Continental breakfast in room could have offered greater variety, but I guess for anybody needing to make an early start would be adequate. Instant coffee is a complete turn-off for me.

The Bull In is a lovely old country pub with 4 ensuite rooms in a beautiful village located between Coventry and Rugby. The pub has a large dining room and serves fresh food daily. There is free WIFI throughout and areas to partake of Coffee. The upstairs of this pub has been converted into four lovely en-suite bedrooms. The rooms uphold a traditional and old feeling but have the comfort facilities of modern day

The location in the lovely Warwickshire countryside, near the canal defies all ideas that you are only 5 minutes away from the M6, M69 and 10 minutes away from the M45 and M1. Stratford upon Avon, warwick Castle and Daventry are all within easy reach as is Birmingham, NEC, Ricoh football ground and surrounding areas.

Rugby is the home of Rugby football and Rugby School which provided the inspiration for the novel 'Tom Brown’s Schooldays'. Today Rugby has an attractive town centre with a good range of shops and a number of quality restaurants and bars.

Warwickshire truly is at heart of the country, with some of the most attractive towns and villages in England set amongst beautiful countryside. The county is split into five districts each with their own distinctive feel, but wherever you are in the county there is always a sense that you can access everything you need without the hassles that go with life in the large cities.
