"A slice of country heaven."
Idyllically situated, it looked a beautiful floral coated country house as we turned into their ample care park. Greeted with a smile, check in a doddle and from then on, cosseted by a brilliant bar and waiting team, until our departure. Ably steered by a knowledgeable, hands on bar manager, with a great sense of humour, the standard and quality of service was a pleasure to encounter and enjoy. Wonderful meals, lovely wines, beers and gins and smiles. Also, great bed and well equipped rooms! Read less

The staff, the great range of excellent quality food and drinks, the room, the venue, the country walks locally, the canal down the road, but mainly how happy the staff made you feel!
Dislikes:
Yes, it went too quickly!

Our No.10 room annex was fantastic 😊 breakfast was lovely, my poached egg was Perfect!! and your bacon was delish 😋😋 Staff were brilliant, the chap behind the bar needs to relax! Far too stressed!
Dislikes:
The menu was a little over prices but very nice food, however more simple option for people who don't like fussy stuff would be good, also maybe some bog standard bitter (John Smiths) 😊

The Bowling Green is a beautiful grade 2 listed Elizabethan inn set amidst the rolling green fields of Worcestershire, just 40 minutes from Birmingham. Less than 6 miles away is Worcester, a bustling city steeped in history, where Oliver Cromwell’s army fought the last battle of the Civil War.

Delicious home cooked food, real ales and a variety of wines and spirits are served in the warm, welcoming pub, which boasts original features including wood panelling, exposed beams and two open fireplaces. Outside, a garden provides plenty of seating for sunny days and there is also a Clay Pigeon Shooting area, and features one of the oldest crown bowling greens in the country.

Each of the large, comfortable bedrooms is en suite with flat screen TVs, bottled water and tea and fresh coffee making facilities.

Under new ownership and looking forward to welcoming you to our newly refurbished business.
