"Would recommend and stay again"
We had a three night stay to look round Chichester and visit nearby relatives. It was a short walk to the cathedral and the centre of town, lots of shops for those wanting retail therapy and plenty of pubs with real ale for those wanting beer therapy. There was a live band on Friday evening and a comedy club on Saturday afternoon. Read less
Likes:
We had a warm welcome. It had free parking and was easy to find on the ring road after trips out. The food was delicious and portions were generous. The room was clean, warm and had a lovely balcony.
Dislikes:
Nothing negative to say about this other than we hadn't realised the bar was not open on Sunday evenings, not really a problem as close enough to walk to another pub.

A very small outfit above a long established family run pub, very friendly and obliging and delicious breakfasts. They were able to provide for someone who was a gluten free vegetarian, and would provide extra things on request. Friendly bar staff, owner happy for us to park before check-in and after check-out. liked informal atmosphere and characterful building. great location - one minute to walk to the city centre
Dislikes:
Only one small criticism which is that there was no shampoo or shower gel in the bathroom (the dispensers on the sink and in the shower were both handwash)
