Likes:
There was a good supply of tea and coffee in the room, and the bathroom was big, with a good shower.
The breakfast was good and friendly service
Dislikes:
There were a couople of maintenance issues with the bathroom, which didn't detract from the stay.
Our room was above the restaurant area, so it was quite noisy in the evening

"Very basic rooms and less than average food"
The rooms were extremely basic and the bathroom had sticky floors. Haven't seen anything like this since the 1970s. We had dinner there and my fishcakes were almost inedible, spongy and had a watery liquid oozing out when cut. My husband's whitebait started was alright. He had mussels as a main and it came with a watery and unattractive broth which bore no resemblance to the lovely juices which come out of mussels when cooked. Read less

At The Nags we are proud of our heritage, that’s why, in recent years, our bar area has been lovingly restored and enhanced which helps to create an ambience many bars would be envious of. The Nags has eleven individually designed bedrooms. All are en-suite with colour television and coffee and tea making facilities. Our Full English breakfast is of course included in the price.

Naturally we offer an extensive range of quality wines, real ales, spirits and coffees plus our own home made bar snacks. You can choose from Chefs own pâté, chicken satay, salami board and baked brie or our famous olives, marinated in our special spicy chilli sauce. If you prefer you can select any of the meals from our main menu.

Chichester is situated on england's south coast, encompassing the romano-georgian city of Chichester, the glorious beaches of West Wittering & East Head, the AONB & villages of Chichester Harbour, Pagham Nature Reserve, The Witterings, Selsey & the spectacular countryside & villages of the South Downs National Park. The historic city of Chichester itself is compact & walkable with both independent & big name shops, restaurants & cultural activities; all overseen by the magnificent Chichester Cathedral.
