Friendly staff which made the whole stay relaxed and simple. The room was comfortable and clean. It was exactly what I needed
Dislikes:
Only things I would change would be a tea spoon in the room to stir the tea I made and a more powerful shower.

"OK but a bit overpriced."
Had to stay a couple of nights while visiting friends locally. Hotel is clean and functional but street noise could be an issue for some as the windows are not double glazed. Walls and especially the ceiling are thin so you hear lots of noise from other guests. The noise from above was ridiculous! How many times do you need to stomp across a hotel room? If you're a light sleeper avoid. Otherwise, it's fine. Read less

Likes:
Great pub, excellent breakfast, lovely crisp linen, (maybe a blanket might have been a nice touch) the code to get in late a great idea. The room had everything needed.
Dislikes:
The bathroom toilet seat had a white stain all over it, and we didn't not fancy trying out the shower, so we went without. Toilet didn't flush second time.

Our Bar and Lounge area is spacious, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The walls are adorned with wonderful old prints of Cuckfield in days gone by and are of great interest to the locals. The very attractive Bar offers an excellent range of Real Ales and a good selection of fine Wines. The Bar is also the perfect place to relax and enjoy one of our Cocktails if that is your pleasure.

Our sunny garden is a pleasant area in which to enjoy a meal, or just to relax over a drink.
