Catching up with a friend for a couple of days we needed somewhere handy to overnight prior to Ardingly antiques fair and the Wheatsheaf proved to be ideal.
Arriving hot and tired after a day walking round the fantastic gardens in this area, it was wonderful to be welcomed, checked in and outside in the garden enjoying a glass of cider within a few minutes. Read less

"Good Value."
There is very limited availability of B&B's or hotels in Cuckfield. We were only using the room to sleep in as we were going to a party & got picked up within an hour of arriving. It was perfectly adequate & met our needs for the night. Room was clean & the bed was comfortable.
We were very happy with the arrangements & thought it was good value for money & would stay there if we were visiting locally again. Read less

"Ideal for an overnight stop off"
I stayed one night while I was on a training course in the area. The town is lovely. The pub itself is nice. Really liked having dinner in the garden. When I arrived the staff were friendly and showed me to my room. Explained the quirky lock etc. The room was basic but had TV with freeview, tea and coffee and a bath & shower. Breakfast was fine but fruit & pastries would have been great. The downfalls for me were the somewhat wobbly bed & poor cleanliness of the bathroom Read less
