The location was lovely, set in its own grounds, and the room was quiet, despite being at the front of the hotel with a main road not far away. The staff were very friendly.
Dislikes:
A problem with the room key meant that we had to be let into the room every time by a member of staff. There was no electric socket near the hospitality tray.

Pleasant surroundings, with a lot of wildlife.
Dislikes:
I was unable to turn off the central heating.
The heating system made lots of noise.
I was unable to sleep undisturbed due to the constant knocking and ticking from the heating system.

Gomersal Lodge was formerly named High Royd and was built for Mary Taylor upon her return from New Zealand in 1860.
Our skill and experience can help you plan your special day, a perfect wedding breakfast and evening reception. Our extensive 5 acres of secluded grounds provide a beautiful setting for truly memorable photography of your special day.
We can cater for up to 30 guests for a sit-down Wedding Breakfast and up to 50 guests for your evening reception. We offer a variety of sit down and buffet style menus all freshly prepared by our head chef and his team.
If you are planning a formal business seminar or an informal meeting Gomersal Lodge offers you a quiet and tranquil venue where our professional team are on hand to ensure your meeting runs smoothly.
We have a selection of rooms, all have private shower, radio, remote control TV, tea and coffee making facilities. For those special occasions, we can arrange for wine and Champagne, Belgian chocolates, flowers, and celebration cakes to be available for your arrival.
