Must have a good chef as both evening meal and breakfast were beautifully cooked with good fresh ingredients.

Very nice owner and staff. A nice room. Don't worry about it being a pub: there are no noises besides some vent humming from 7 to 9 in my room, probably from the kitchen, but nobody's sleeping at that hour. The only bad thing was that the cupboard smelled funny. Read less

Haworth is famed mostly for the Bronte family. They were here for 40 years but the village has been around for about a thousand years! It is a Pennine village that made its living from farming, stone quarrying and textile manufacture. Of all the places to stay in Haworth, you will be hard pressed to find a more accommodating or friendly Bed and Breakfast than the Fleece Inn. The Fleece Inn is situated on the picturesque and historic cobbled Main Street in Haworth.

Staying at the Fleece, the original Inn where Branwell Bronte, brother of the famous Bronte sisters, once drank (and maybe still does!) offers a cosy rural sanctuary for those wishing to unwind or over- indulge. The Fleece Inn offers time-honoured Yorkshire hospitality in traditional and comfortable surroundings with easy access to many local attractions such as Haworth's very own Steam engine railway system which featured in the classic film "The Railway Children"!

The full range of Timothy Taylor's award winning ales are served in the stone flagged bar, which also stocks a comprehensive range of wines, bottled beers from around the World and Malt whiskies.

The Fleece has recently featured in The Daily Telegraphs "Top 70 Great British Pubs" and holds the prestigious Beautiful Beer Platinum Award for it's exceptional standard of Ales. (Incidentley, The Fleece is the only Pub in Yorkshire to hold this highly prized award!) We are also Haworth's top rated hotel on Tripadvisor...why not take a look.
