We were staying for a wedding and needed somewhere near venue for one night.....this was in a great position. The beds were very comfy and lovely clean white bedding. We were given all the info we needed including lick codes and wifi password. We were late back and access was easy.....there was even a charge point for an electric vehicle! It was good value for money. Read less

Clean beds , good position. There were quite a few guests but it was still quiet.

I would have liked some fresh milk for tea but I'm sure I would have got some if I'd asked.

Me and my fiance booked a double room, was given key for a twin room
took key back and got replaced with what was supposed to be a double,
not quite so.. 2 single beds pushed together with a double quilt on,
Bit uncomfortable if you r a loving couple that likes to cuddle up in bed
Plus waking up in the night with either leg or arm in between the matress's.
but still a nice place.. will insist on a double next time nd not 2 singles pushed together.. Read less

Response from Dalesgate Hotel:
Thank you for your comments, the reason you were allocated a Twin bedded room originally is that according to our confirmation from the source you booked through it cleary says, "Double or Twin Ensuite- Twin Beds" The room were allocated has "Zip & Link" beds whereby the matresses are zipped & the bases linked, so they become a king size. Had you let us know at the time we would have gladly given you a room with a standard double bed, most of our guests tend to prefer the larger beds.

The two star rated Dalesgate Hotel is located 1.5 miles from Keighley town centre. This large, end of terrace stone house was originally the residence of the minister to the chapel which stood on the site of our new stone built extension.

Situated on the very edges of the Dales and Brontë country, only ten minutes drive from Skipton, the gateway to the dales, The Dalesgate Hotel offers the ideal base for both business and pleasure, long or short term. The hotel is the ideal base for exploring Bronte Country and neighbouring Haworth.

Locally there is a steam railway in Keighley. We are fortunate to be located near to several golf courses and our location means we have easy access to the M1 and M65 motorways.

We have a well-stocked bar where you can relax or choose a wine from our extensive list.
