We stayed for 2 nights at this beautifully restored pub. Regretfully we didnt sample the menu (it looked delicious) but we had a lovely stay, even sharing a drink with the local son the first night!

The staff all went out of their way to make us feel welcome and I would definitely recommend my friends and family to stay here. Read less

Likes:
The restaurant food is excellent. The atmosphere and staff are superb. There is a lovely calm and casual feeling. The building is very attractive.
Dislikes:
Our bedroom faced the road and there is significant traffic noise early in the morning. One or teo of the fish specials on the menu had run out by h time we ate at 8pm. The others were great though.

We enjoyed the food and the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff and the evening meal was excellent. A small fan was provided due to the hot weather which was very welcome.
Dislikes:
The beside lights were inadequate and didn't give off enough light to read. The bedside shelf was of poor quality and the windows should have curtains as the blinds let in the light from the street li
