"Lovely place, rooms, staff & pub"
We stayed for 2 nights, breakfast on morning one was freshly cooked & really good, breakfast on morning two was Buffett style which was a shame as we had experienced it differently the day before.
The rooms were lovely, clean & comfy.
Really liked the little coffee lounge bit downstairs & we used that both days!
There isn’t a huge amount in the area but that is fine, nice walks if you fancy one.
Our only negative feedback was that we felt the dinner menu was over priced for what it was. Read less

We had a relaxing time. Breakfast day one was lovely & all the staff were very nice
Dislikes:
As mentioned above we felt the dinner menu was over priced for what it was & it could have been hotter food when served.

We are a dining pub with rooms, in the middle of our own organic farm in the village of Bishopstone, on the edge of the Wiltshire Downs. Great service, informally, and a welcome as if it’s your own front room.

Our 12 luxurious rooms are a world away from the crowd, with their own doors off a sunny, shared courtyard. Each uniquely stylish room is named and themed after a field on our farm here at Eastbrook, a perfect place to unwind in the beautiful Wiltshire countryside. Sleep deeply in crisp cotton bedding. A hearty breakfast to set you up for your day, whatever it holds, and high speed wifi to keep you connected. Many of our rooms can be booked to accommodate families, check the descriptions for more details. We can also provide travel cots free of charge for the majority of rooms.

You’ll eat and sleep well here. Generous organic food from our farm or our neighbours. A menu that changes most days and always with the seasons. All accompanied by excellent local ales, wines, gins and juices. Our family, friends, and farm workers have shared meals and beers here for 10 years and we only serve the food and drink that we enjoy ourselves.

Circular walks to The Ridgeway National Trail that runs across our (tenanted) 1,400 acre organic farm start from our front door. Our farm boundaries to the south give access to thousands more acres of open land, criss-crossed with paths and bridleways, and the glories of pre-historic Wiltshire and Oxfordshire lie all around us. At the right time of year there’s a proper fire to come back to and always newspapers, magazines, books to borrow. Dogs and muddy boots welcome.

This is your place to enjoy. Just a medium stone’s throw from Swindon station, with easy access to London and The Cotswolds. We’ll collect you from the station in our old red Land Rover, where possible; just call and ask.
Environmental Statement
We are an organic farm based business aspiring to the highest organic and environmentally friendly standards in all aspect of the business from meat served at the pub to paint on the walls.
