The whole ambience was excellent, from the look of the pub to the friendliness of the staff and the quality of the service.
Dislikes:
The was n almost constant noise, from what appeared to be a cellar cooler below, in our room all night.

The Somerset Arms has been a coaching inn for hundreds of years. Records suggest that as far back as the 16th century ales were served to travellers and highwayman who traversed what became the busy A350. It is named after the Duke of Somerset who was a great landowner in the area.
In 2004 the village of Semington was bypassed, and for perhaps the first time in its history the road was still. This obviously had a dramatic effect on the role of The Somerset Arms, now not attracting the traveler, things had to change.
In the summer of 2009, following a period of closure The Somerset Arms opened its doors again ready to offer a new service to its local customers.
