"The room was cheap, but the quality was poor."
Warm welcome, but upstairs area for bedrooms just looked tired. Carpet on stairs worn. Room small. Bed linen and duvet very nice. Mattress uncomfortable and needed a topper as it was hard and I could feel the springs! Bathroom small but well appointed and functional. My main problem was that the walls were so thin I could hear everything next door were saying, and actually follow the conversation it was so clear! Partition wall had been boarded but not plastered, so finish really poor. Read less
Likes:
Bed linen and duvet. Breakfast small but well cooked.
Dislikes:
See above. Mattress poor, sound insulation non existent. Room small and overlooking gravel flat roof (needs blinds or sheers to hide it,)
Response from The Bell:
We are very sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy your stay with us, we are very happy to receive all feedback. I am sorry that the neighboring guests were too loud and please be assured that all of the walls upstairs are original and have been in place since the building was built many years ago, no partition walls have been added and all walls are plastered. We are very pleased to hear that you enjoyed our home cooked breakfast and warm welcome.

A totally new and fresh experience in the heart of Eckington village. Completely refurbished by sympathetically blending the old with the new. Eckington provides an excellent base for exploring Worcestershire, Warwick and Gloucestershire. All within a short drive you will find: the rivers Avon and Severn with boat hire and boat trips from Worcester, Tewkesbury or Evesham, the Cathedral cities of Worcester and Gloucester with its docks and National Waterways Museum , shopping centres of Cheltenham and Worcester, horse-racing at Warwick, Worcester and Cheltenham race course, walking on Bredon Hill or the Malverns, the Royal Worcester porcelain factory, the Civil War Museum in Worcester, or historic Warwick Castle. As ever the emphasis is firmly placed on good food, a great selection of beers and wines, quality service and includes four tasteful ensuite bedrooms. PLEASE NOTE: Check In is from 13:00 & Check Out is at 10:30. We are closed between the hours of 3.00pm & 6.00pm Monday to Friday.
We are a no smoking accommodation, If evidence of smoking or there is a strong suspicion of smoking in a room then a charge of 1 nights stay will be applied to the bill.
Regrettably we cannot accept pets.
