A stunning 300 year old Ham stone building set in 1.5 acres of mature garden. Come and relax in our cosy snug bar in front of the log fire or enjoy a meal in our Orangery. Dogs are welcome with well behaved owners. Over the past few months we have been refurbishing the hotel to ensure that Ash House Hotel is restored to it's former glory. Under new ownership, the hotel is an ideal place to stay whatever your requirements may be. Meeting facilities and free wireless broadband are available.

Ash House Hotel is a country house hotel located in the heart of the Somerset countryside, but easily accessible, being just half a mile from the A303, 1 mile from the centre of Martock, 5 miles from the centre of Yeovil and under 20 miles from the M5.

Built approximately 300 years ago, this spacious and gracious building had been carefully restored over the last few months to provide elegant and comfortable accommodation. It offers modern facilities whilst maintaining the character of the building. All of our bedrooms have crisp white Italian cotton sheets,power showers and fluffy large towels. Dogs are welcome and we have a enclosed run should you wish a quiet lunch.

Our Dining room provides a warm & welcoming atmosphere in which to enjoy your meal or you can have a more relaxing meal in the snug bar or Orangery. We use the freshest possible ingredients from local suppliers. Our menues change with the seasons to ensure that we are serving only the best ingredients at any time of the year.

Somerset is a County of Contrasts, with long sweeping beaches and coastal resorts at Minehead, Burnham-on-Sea, Weston-super-Mare or Clevedon are perfect for family holidays made from sand, sea and surf. Venture inland and you will find an epic and wild countryside, alive with colour. A National Park plus three Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty are home to a diverse range of wildlife

A short drive away you have the mystical Glastonbury Tor, historical Wells, Dunster Castle. Manor houses such as Tyntesfield, Montacute House or Barrington Court. The Fleet Air Arm Museum, Helicopter Museum, Somerset Distillery, Brown and Forrest smokehouse are also very close or adventure at Cheddar Caves and Wookey Hole,

There are also many National Trust and English Heritage properties, as well and Exmoor National Park.

The hotel has a number of rooms suitable for private dinners or meetings and we have full facilities for the business person including free WiFi.
