I arrived on a Sunday eveing to be greeted by a very friendly proprietor. I was to stay for 7 eveings before I moved in regular accomadation. I worked during the week each evening I came back to a clean room with everything restocked tea, milk etc. I had a tv which was at the end of the bed which was useful. I could walk out the front door and within 5 mins there were plenty of places to eat/drink. Check out was simple and easy and I was on my way. Read less

Breakfast was worth getting out of a very comfortable bed for.The personal touch in the room was evident and very much appreciated. During our stay the temperature dropped quite significantly in the evening and the heating cut in to take the chill off the room without us asking. Thank you Pauline and Tony. Read less

Most important was the onsite free parking. It is central in the village so a short walk to the shops and the many other attractions around.

Babbacombe Guest House enjoys an enviable position in the heart of Babbacombe, a short level walk from the sea front and Babbacombe Downs, between Oddicombe and Babbacombe beaches. The Guest House is also within walking distance of many local attractions including Bygones Victorian Museum, The world famous Model Village, Oddicome Cliff Railway and Babbacombe Theatre.
We have a total of six rooms, three double with en-suite, one superior en-suite (king twin or double) , a family room also en-suite, and one single room with its own private bathroom.
All our rooms have flatscreen televisions with freeview channels, hospitality tray, hairdryer, radio alarm clock, towels and toiletries.
We are just a short drive away from Torquay town centre, and if you wish to leave the car behind then you'll be pleased to know a very good bus service operates from virtually outside the front door. For our coastal path walkers we provide an onward baggage transfer service, plus can provide a packed lunch with a days notice. In fact our aim is to make your stay with us as pleasant as possible.
