Before we arrived we asked could we check in early as would be down about lunch time. As there was nobody in our room staying the previous night, they emailed us straight back and told us we were welcome to come when we wanted. Staff greeted us at the door and offered to give us a hand to our room. They informed us when breakfast was but there was no rush if we wanted to come down a bit later.Children were happy as there was a lolly on there pillow.When we left they were there to see us off Read less

Where comfortable and cosy accommodation along with excellent home-made fayre, will assure that your stay will be the first of many. We are situated in a quiet cul-de-sac with ample off road parking for all of our guests just 250 yards from the Blue Flag Beach of Preston Sands and Paignton Beach. Also we are just 10 minutes from the main shopping area with a wide range of eating places as well as the Paignton & Dartmouth Steam Railway (see our things to do in and around the area).
There is plenty to do for all age groups from the young to the not so young. Being centrally located within Torbay, we are ideally located for the towns of Brixham, Dartmouth, Totnes and Torquay. There are vast amounts of attractions within the English Riviera for all age groups. The Baildon Royd is fully non-smoking. We also have a fully licensed bar available for our residents. All our guest rooms are tastefully decorated with modern conveniences; colour TV, tea/coffee making facilities, complimentary toiletries, free Wi -Fi, radio alarm clocks and complimentary mineral water on arrival.
We welcome families and accept all major credit/debit cards. We offer a full English breakfast and vegetarian options. We also aim to cater for most special diets provided enough notice is given. We can also provide packed lunches and are happy to fill flasks.
