Barn Cottage Bed and Breakfast is off the beaten track in the tiny, rural, remote hamlet of Woolminstone, a couple of miles south of Crewkerne, Somerset.
Barn Cottage offers extremely comfortable ensuite accommodation with that extra attention to detail.

Both rooms are freshly and tastefully decorated. We try to anticipate your needs with a very comfortable bed, a well provisioned hospitaility tray, iced water, fresh flowers etc. If you have supper in your romm we provide you with wine glasses. There is a small guest frig on the landing for fresh milk and for your own use.

A hearty, well cooked, award winning breakfast using locally sourced and mostly organic ingredients, is served in our dining room. The French doors and windows look out over lovely gardens and farm land and is a real treat for bird and animal lovers! Guests may enjoy eating on the patio in good weather.

Barn Cottage Bed and Breakfast is enviably positioned for exploring, walking, biking and visiting the coast.
Although only a couple of miles south of Crewkerne, we are centrally set in a remote and tranquil “hidden area” on the South Somerset borders with Dorset and Devon, surrounded by hills, country lanes and organic farms. We enjoy fabulous views out over Dorset’s highest hills.

The Jurassic Coastline at Lyme Regis and Bridport / West Bay, is within a half hour drive as are numerous National Trust Properties and Gardens, beautiful small “Golden Stone” villages (and pubs!) and thriving market towns.

Should the weather turns nasty, washing / drying facilities readily available and for walkers along the local long distance paths, “pick up / drop off” can readily be arranged. Light suppers and packed picnic lunches are available on request.

Business guests are most welcome. We have very secluded safe parking! Children are welcomed but regretfully NO pets.
Check in usually after 3pm and check out usually before 11.00 unless prior arrangements have been made.
