Likes:
Good location near the centre of Wick. Nice view over the harbour. Lovely decor. The freshly cooked breakfast was great too.
Dislikes:
Not really a criticism - for some people it would be a positive - the room was far too hot for me. The radiator had an adjustable thermostat so I was able to lower the temperature for a comfy sleep.

Rooms are lovely - we stayed in two different rooms and both were equally nice. Very spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast was good and service was relaxed, but staff are always about when needed.
Dislikes:
Nothing. A very enjoyable stay. No problems. No complaints.

Thank you for your review. I am sorry that there was disruption caused by the Hen night. We very seldom take bookings for these kind of nights and only did so as it was January and the hotel was quiet and normally we would have used another room but we were fully booked on the night in question. After investigation it was found there has been some dampness caused by a leaking gutter, and there was indeed a smell. The guttering is being repaired today and the smell has been eradicated.

Breadalbane House Hotel is housed within a splendid stone wall building, originally constructed in 1891 and is ideally set within a 2 minute walk of Wick town centre.
Originally built as the private home of a local furniture maker, most of the interior woodwork, including the door and window frames and the staircase, were reputedly built personally by the owner. Today the building operates as an unassuming hotel with an in-house pub.
The surrounding area offers a wealth of activities including golf, fishing, tennis and swimming, all of which are available very close by.
