Bathroom has screws on the floor, and although there was a sign to say keep shower curtain in tray, the curtain was too short. Read less

Location. Friendly staff. Breakfast. Choice of TV channels. Heating. Choice of extras available from reception (toothbrush etc). Info pack in room.
Dislikes:
No full length mirror. Loose toilet seat. WiFi not working in room. No working desk. No windows in room. No iron (though didn't ask for one). Screws and hair on carpet. No newspapers.

The WiFi is available in all guest rooms, however we experienced problems with the internet provider 21/22 November, resulting in no internet at all at one point, the toilet seat is/was not loose. An iron and ironing board are available from reception as indicated in the welcome pack, the dressing table/desk is of standard size and quite within tourist board guidelines. Th shower curtain did appear to be a little short and we have asked housekeeping to rectify this. the room has a large mirror.

We have 8 en suite rooms, 2 singles, 3 twins (which convert to 6' superking beds), 2 doubles and one family room (which sleeps 2 adults and one child under 16).
There is one ground floor room which is 'disabled friendly' but due to the age and nature of the building it may not be suitable for all - please contact us with your needs before booking and we will try our best to assist.
Local attractions include, Yorkshire Waterways Museum, RSPB - Blacktoft Sands, Wolds Way Lavender, The Deep - Hull, Burton Constable Hall, Eden Camp, Humber Bridge and Flamingo Land.
