Thanks for your review. We are currently renewing the shower sealant around the hotel. We do not provide breakfast but have a dining room for guests' use. The smell may have been floor varnish from a room next to the front door that we are currently refurbishing.

Dislikes:
Grey/fraying towels. TV cable hung across the wardrobe doors.Wallpaper hanging off and toilet didn't flush. Pillows like dirty hankies - I could add a lot more but not enough characters !

The Campbells Guest House is located within one mile of Leicester city centre, close to the Leicester Royal Infirmary and De Montfort University. Nearby bus stops have regular buses to the city centre and Fosse Park shopping centre. Free wireless internet is available throughout the hotel. All rooms contain TV and tea and coffee making facilities. Prices no longer include breakfast, but a dining room with crockery and cutlery, a microwave oven and TV is available for guests' use at all times. There are several breakfast cafes within a short walk of the hotel.
Campbells is located on a quiet side street, away from traffic noise.
Local shops and services, plus a wide variety of restaurants, takeaways and bars are close by on Narborough Road. You can buy almost anything you need within a 5 minute walk!
