Forge House

Forge House is a beautifully restored former farmhouse set in a delightful courtyard of stables and stone barns. We are in the heart of the Cotswold village of Kemble overlooking the rolling English countryside, yet we are only 5 miles south-west of the historic Market Town of Cirencester in Gloucestershire.We are within easy reach of beautiful walks and the start of the Thames path; idyllic Cotswold villages; the delightful market towns of Tetbury, Burford and Stow on the Wold; the wonderful Festivals at Cheltenham as well as the racing.

At Forge House, you walk into a fabulous hall with its original restored parquet floor, take breakfast in the delightful dining room with its graceful Victorian fireplace, and you can relax in one of the 3 spacious, well-proportioned bedrooms.

In the luxurious bedrooms, you will be surrounded by soft designer fabrics, handmade cushions and newly upholstered chairs. Around you will be graceful, contemporary oak furniture. You can unwind in your own ensuite bath or shower room with white marble floor. You may choose our delightful 5’ double bedroom with ensuite shower room with fabulous views over the garden and beyond.

You may like to stay in our very spacious twin/double room with 6’6” double bed which can be made into a 3’3” twin room with stunning views of the countryside. Or for more space, you can enjoy the main suite with plenty of space to rest from a busy life with its 6’ double bed, its own sitting room and exceptionally spacious bathroom. This room has delightful south-facing views as well as views of Kemble Church.
