The George Inn is located in the pretty village of Brompton Regis and is the village Inn and shop. As a traditional 16th Century Village Inn Free house in the beautiful Exmoor National Park not far from Dulverton and Wimbleball Lake offering a friendly village inn atmosphere with en-suite accommodation and quality wholesome pub food and well kept ales.
If you are staying overnight or for a weekend for one of the many pursuits that Exmoor has to offer we hope you will enjoy your time here with us.
Stay in our en-suite guest rooms named after guest beers or private self catering accommodation in our barn cottage.
With Wimbleball Lake and Dulverton nearby, the George is perfectly placed for outdoor activities such as sailing, canoeing or fishing on Wimbleball Lake, cycling, riding or sightseeing. The pub has wonderful views and a favourite activity is to sit in the pub and just look at the view either from the garden or inside the pub.
Our aim is to preserve theEnglish Village Inn so we will have home made dishes on our menu from local produce including our famous Exmoor Beast Pie, with guest ales to compliment the local real ales from Exmoor and other localities.
