The view, the service, breakfast, pretty much everything. It's not a fancy place, but definitely worth staying and we'd stay there again.

The owner Jurrian was a very hospitable person & very helpful with suggestions of where to go on the island & pointing out places of interest not in the guide books.
Dislikes:
Parking for cars was not ideal - could be better & very steep driveway.One of the rooms ( no 3) - the shower was not too good - not much power. Also suggest a bath mat would be a good idea.

Portree is the largest town and beating heart of the Isle. It enjoys scenic views of the surrounding country side. It also has a very scenic harbour where fresh fish is still caught daily. These can be sampled in the local restaurants. From Portree it is easy to venture to the other parts of the isle. Skye has much to offer to people who like the Scottish Highlands. This is because Skye has it all from the jagged black Cuillins to the more gentler hills of sleat. Visitors of the Isle are all amazed of it's beauty, tranquility and charm.
