"Fantastic, friendly accommodation, I felt as though it was home-from-home."
From the very first meeting at the front door on Saturday 24th Sept. I was at ease with the owner. Room 10, was on the 2nd floor and felt really private. There was plenty of tea/coffee making facilities, very clean towels and a no fuss double bed. The shower and toilet was just next door. Next time I would book an en-suite shower n toilet if it was a long stay. This was my first time using the internet to book and pay for a service and was very very straight forward. Gorgeous cooked breakfast! Read less

Family run, no fuss, nothing was too much trouble, a great welcome. I had a problem with the TV which Claire came and fixed straight away. Thank you so much Claire for a great time.

The family were very friendly and they also gave me a full English Breakfast. It was cheap compared with other accommodation on the surrounding streets. I could come and go at any time.
Dislikes:
There were no electricity sockets near to my bed to accommodate a reading light. I could hear other guests slamming doors. I had to tinker with the TV aerial to get a decent picture.

Torquay, at the heart of the English Riviera, South Devon. Torquay is the ideal venue for family holidays, short breaks, conferences or as a base for exploring Devon.

Located in a central location very close to all main attractions. Just a short stroll from the seafront, harbour and town centre with its large variety of shops, pubs, clubs and restaurants.

The English Riviera is a resort in the truest sense of the word, attracting visitors of all ages and interests throughout the year. Undergoing a water front regeneration and a number of new attraction and accommodation schemes, Torquay has something for everyone and for all ages, at all times of the year!

Torquay has been one of the UK 's top holiday destinations since Victorian Times when the gentry promenaded, bathing huts were wheeled down to the beaches and anyone who was anyone had an attractive villa overlooking the sea.

It was the Victorians who first used the Riviera name to describe their favourite resort and their legacy remains to this day with sparkling white villas perched on the verdant hilltops, beautiful gardens around the seafront and elegant Victorian facades along the main streets.

Torquay is located in the heart of South Devon within an our of Exeter, Plymouth and the National Parks of Dartmoor and Exemoor. There are excellent Road and Rail links with the rest of the country.
